ABOUT

Emily Hackett is a New England based artist.  She recently graduated from the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts with a BFA in Illustration.  One of Emily’s most notable projects is her children’s book, Bailey the Beluga. While using imaginative fiction intertwined with educational information, Bailey the Beluga is fun to read while informing the reader on marine life.  Alongside her work in the editorial field, Emily has also exhibited work in local galleries such as: The Essex Art Association and The Chauncey Stillman gallery.  In between her time working on Illustrations and producing fine art, she works on commissioned pet portraits.
